How do I take tinctures, elixirs, and glycerites?
There are many different ways to work with our tinctures, elixirs, and glycerites (tinctures made with 100% vegetable glycerin as a menstrum, as opposed to alcohol). You may take them sublingually, using the dropper to put the recommended drops under your tongue. We invite you to hold the medicine in your mouth and under your tongue for 30 second before swallowing (this is a good moment to set an intention for what you are asking for in your collaboration with your herbal medicine). You might also stir your recommended dosage into tea/water/juice, or your preferred beverage.

Why do some of your medicines have a moon sign on the label?
Our medicines are powered by the moon, which means we consider the phase of the moon and the astrological sign the moon is in when brewing and straining our herbal medicines. If your bottle notes “Scorpio Moon,” this means your medicine was created when the moon was in the astrological sign of Scorpio. Every moon phase and sign has a distinct energy, and we invite you to note (and document, if you wish) how your body and spirit respond to the different medicines.

My shipping materials look recycled. Are they?
Yes! We are committed to caring for our precious earth however possible, so we often re-use packaging materials, including boxes, peanuts, and other stuff that looks like it could have a second life. Thank you for doing the same, and reusing any materials you receive.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?
Our average shipping time is 2 weeks from your order date. I am committed to expediting my process and improving operations across the board so you have these medicines in your hands, while not sacrificing any of the intention and care that goes into every package. If your order will be delayed beyond 2 weeks, we’ll shoot you an email to outline when you can expect your order.

Do any of my medicines need to be refrigerated?
We recommend refrigerating any glycerites, our seasonal lavender syrup, and our Twilight elderberry syrup after opening.

Are herbal medicines evaluated by the FDA?
Our products are not evaluated by the FDA & are not intended  to treat, cure, prevent, or diagnose any disease.
